Embrace Nature, Embrace Spirituality: Forest Cafe

What is Forest Cafe?
“Forest Café offers a unique opportunity to commune with God and nature.
As we gather together in our meadow and field, we’re reminded of the majesty and wonder of creation. Far from the distractions of modern technology, we open ourselves to the beauty and tranquility that surrounds us, allowing it to inspire and uplift our spirits.”
Unlike Cafe Church, which starts with breakfast and ends with a service, we do Forest Cafe the other way around. Here we light a fire and have a service focused on creation. At the end we light a BBQ and cook breakfast on it as well as providing the usual options for croissants, fruit, etc.
Forest Cafe is a variant of Cafe church so we keep in regular contact using the Cafe Church WhatsApp group.
Please get in touch with us by phone, using the contact form (details below) or email directly on contact@tardebiggechurch.co.uk if you would like to be added.
What happens in Forest Café?
Forest Cafe is about gathering together and discussing the things we see around us. We will use the creation story as our key theme, picking up aspects of it as we go each month. Everyone is encouraged to look at the things that they can see or hear and talk about them. There is the chance to reflect and discuss whatever cones to mind. As always at our gatherings, you are welcome to contribute as much or as little as you would like to.
When is it on?
Forest Cafe is on every first Sunday of the month. There will be exceptions around Christmas, Easter and other events, so do keep an eye on the notices to keep up to date
It starts at 9.30 and finishes with a complimentary breakfast between 10am and 10.30. After this the café remains open for as long as you need it.
